| Announcement by the association of Arab Universities | | 08/07/2018 |  | | The Association of Arab
Universities, is a non-governmental organization that was established in 1964
upon a resolution issued by the Arab League and its membership includes more
than 350 Arab Member Universities.
Please note that the elected secretariat general of
the Association of Arab Universities has commenced its term as of 1st of July
2018, for an initial term of three years.
The Association of Arab Universities is headed by
Prof. Amr Ezzat Salama, the Secretary General, and two Assistant Secretaries
General; namely: Prof. Khemissi Hamidi and Prof. Abdelrahim Hunaiti.
Our Association is working on establishing a direct
link with Associations of higher education institutions in various
regions of the world and we are the solely legal Arab Association of universities
recognized and legally registered in the Arab League, and any other form of
Arab Universities Associations are not representatives of The Association of
Arab Universities.
